A heat pump water heater moves heat from the air into a storage tank, delivering three to four units of heat for every unit of electricity. An electric geyser delivers about one. That is why heat pumps cut running costs wherever hot water is used daily.
We offer heat pump systems as one package: supply and installation. We survey, size, supply, install, and commission the system, then hand it over working. One team owns the result.
We list each of these in your quotation, so nothing appears after work starts.
The system runs a refrigerant loop that collects heat from air and releases it into water. Four stages repeat for as long as the tank needs heat.
The evaporator absorbs heat from outdoor air into the refrigerant.
The compressor raises the refrigerant's pressure and temperature.
The condenser transfers that heat into the water in the storage tank.
The refrigerant expands, cools, and returns to the evaporator.
A heat pump moves heat from the air into water instead of making heat itself. Pick a type below based on your building, how much hot water you use, and how much space you have.
Start here. Find your property type and see the setup we suggest most often.
One heat pump with a 150 to 300 litre insulated hot water tank, sized to your family's use.
One central heat pump with several tanks and a planned circulation loop.
Several commercial heat pumps, insulated tanks, a circulation loop, and a right-sized backup heater.
A high-temperature heat pump with a tank or heat exchanger, chosen for the temperature your process needs.
Want to see every option? We supply two families of heat pump hot water systems, listed below.
These systems take heat from the outdoor air. Here are five common setups.
The heat pump and the tank are one unit.
The outdoor unit and the water tank are separate.
A few heat pumps heat big tanks that feed many taps.
A small pump keeps hot water moving through the pipes, so far taps get hot water fast. Some heat is lost in the loop, so we plan it with care.
Solar panels and a heat pump share the work of heating the water.
These heat pumps warm water directly or through a closed water loop. Here are five common setups.
The heat pump heats the water you use, and an insulated tank keeps it hot.
The heat pump warms a closed loop of water. That loop passes its heat to the water you use.
Several tanks connect to one or more heat pumps.
A small buffer tank keeps the heating loop steady. A second tank stores your hot water. We check if your system needs the buffer.
An electric heater or boiler helps on busy days or when you need very hot water.
Find your building type to see which systems fit best.

This is general guidance. We check every site before we recommend a system.
Heat pumps pay back fastest where hot water is used every day, in large volumes. The design changes with the site, so we plan each project around who uses the water and when.
Bungalows, villas, and apartment societies get steady hot water for bathrooms and kitchens, with lower monthly power bills than geysers.
Centralized systems deliver hot water to every room at peak hours, sized by occupied rooms or beds and backed by storage.
Offices, schools, gyms, and canteens use hot water in fixed windows, which makes heat pump sizing precise and payback predictable.
Washing, rinsing, and canteen loads run on heat pumps, with a plant-level design based on your kW load and shift pattern.
Pool heat pumps hold water at a steady temperature for clubs, hotels, and residential complexes.

Call Us for Heat Pump AdviceChoose by daily hot water demand first, then check space, power, efficiency, and budget. Getting capacity wrong is the most common mistake: an undersized unit runs out of hot water, and an oversized one wastes money.
Start with litres per day at peak. Count users, outlets, and the hours when most people draw water.
The outdoor unit needs open airflow. A terrace, podium, or ground-level pad works if air can circulate and technicians can reach it.
Check your sanctioned load and phase. Larger units need a dedicated supply, which we verify at the survey.
Compare the coefficient of performance (COP). A higher COP means more heat per unit of electricity. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency publishes efficiency guidance for appliances.
Compare the upfront cost with the monthly electricity saving. Sites with heavy daily use recover the extra investment sooner.
A family of three to four people typically needs about 150 to 200 litres of storage, and a family of five to six needs 250 to 300 litres. Hotels are sized by occupied rooms and hospitals by beds. Industrial systems are sized by kW load. These are starting points - we confirm the final capacity at the site survey.
The cost depends on capacity, brand, site conditions, and scope, so we quote each project after a survey instead of publishing a fixed price. A home unit and a 100-room hotel plant are different projects. Every quotation itemizes equipment, installation, and extras, so you can compare it line by line.
Capacity and brand set the equipment price. A larger kW rating or a bigger tank costs more, and Venus and AO Smith ranges differ by model.
Labor depends on pipe length, wall access, and the electrical work needed. A unit near the tank costs less to install than one on a distant terrace.
Tank size, insulation, circulation pumps, and controls add to the total. Centralized systems need more piping than single-point units.
Five factors move the final figure: capacity, brand, site access, electrical readiness, and project timeline. We explain each one in writing.
